What this app does

This app performs merchant-requested, read-only checks of product variant SKU and barcode data. Pro merchants can separately prepare, review, and confirm a Bulk Repair that updates only the listed SKU and barcode fields. The app does not generate or apply repairs automatically, serve storefront content, or access orders or customer records. Product write access is optional and requested only when a merchant chooses to enable confirmed repairs.

Information processed

We process store identity, installation and authentication data, product and variant identifiers, product status, vendor, product type, tags, titles, SKUs, and barcodes as needed to run an audit. Full catalog snapshots and identifier lists are streamed to the merchant’s browser and are not stored in our service database. Product CSV files selected for preflight are parsed locally in the browser and are not uploaded to our service.

We store only installation sessions, scan metadata and summaries, policy settings, subscription status, and merchant-created acknowledgement signatures and optional notes. Current detailed findings are stored locally in the merchant’s browser. The browser may retain the latest two detailed snapshots, saved filter views, repair drafts, the latest rollback values, and locally generated report files until the merchant clears them. Confirmed repair values pass through our authenticated server only while current values are verified and Shopify applies the request; repair rows are not retained in our service database.

Use and sharing

Information is used to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and support the service. Necessary service-provider categories include platform operations, application hosting, data storage, service reliability, and merchant support. We do not sell personal information or share it for targeted advertising.

Retention and deletion

We retain information only while needed to provide, protect, and support the service or meet legal obligations. Uninstall events remove sessions, policies, acknowledgements, and scan records. Shopify privacy-compliance requests are processed through mandatory webhooks. Merchants can clear detailed local results from the app.

Security and international processing

We use access controls, encrypted transport, request authentication, data minimization, and restricted diagnostic logging. Service providers may process information in countries other than the merchant’s country under appropriate safeguards.

Your choices and rights

Merchants can review or remove acknowledgements, local findings, repair drafts, and rollback data in the app, uninstall the app, or contact the support center for access, correction, deletion, or privacy questions.

Children and changes

The service is intended for Shopify merchants and is not directed to children. Material policy changes will be reflected here with a new update date.
